


Guilherme Gerlinger Striquer, better known by his pseudonym Wilhelm Gerlinger, is a Brazilian photographer specializing in street photography and portraits. Born and raised in the city center of Ponta Grossa, Paraná, he has always been in contact with art and visual culture, especially photography, through his childhood exposure to portable cameras.
In 2022, he enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), where he was completely immersed in issues related to the field of art and visual language, through studies based on technique, personal aesthetic values, and ethical values, within various languages such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and film. In 2024, he began an internship through PROEX (the Vice-Rectorate for Extension) within the Division of Cultural Affairs (DAC), working as a photographer for exhibition openings, university events, and municipal events. One of his main participations in this context was working as a photographer for the 1st "Boteco Theater" exhibition at the 52nd FENATA, with the Rádio Comida theater group, and at the 53rd FENATA, documenting the participation of other groups in the Special Exhibition, and again the Rádio Comida group.

In addition to work done at events, he also does studio photography and photo shoots, conducting studies on the use of light in controlled environments. He also presents series of works with specific themes, such as the "City Lights" series (2023 - present), and the "Seascapes" series (2025).
